The largest of our kitties spent a good deal of time begging in the kitchen today. She loves the water off the tuna.
This fuzzy picture is dinner. We had greek salad wraps. Usually we have a lemon-garlic dressing but tonight we had them with garlic ranch. The dressing is just ranch dressing with a couple of chopped cloves of garlic, pepper and italian seasoning.I prepped a bunch of stuff ( mostly for DH's low carb menu) and put things away.
I chopped salad veggies, made ice tea, deviled eggs, cooked chicken breasts and hamburger patties, tuna salad, curry dressing and curry chicken salad dressing and sugar free jello. To make cooking the chicken and and hamburger patties easier they went in the oven.
Curry Chicken salad dressing ( also good for a dip). Adjust seasoning to taste.
-2 cups mayo
-1 cup sour cream
-2 teaspoons curry powder
-1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
-1 Tablespoon dried chives
DH will try to be really strict on carbs for 10 days (more Atkins style) and then add in a lot more lower carbs veggies and then transition into more of a South Beach style menu focusing on eating healthier.
If you are looking for low carb help, I highly recommend the forums (under community) at www.lowcarbeating.com .
The next few days menus are easy so I can catch up on laundry and make some lunch box items.
